Conduct repairs on theassigned vehicles Carry out routine vehicleservicing as necessary Ensure completingassigned tasks in a timely manner Keepsequipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles;completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oilchanges, replacing filters and all auto mechanical works.
· Maintains vehicle functional condition bylistening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairingengine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systemsmalfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing bodydamage.
· Change spark plugs, fuelfilters, air filters, and batteries in vehicles.
· Repair, gear box, engine overhaul, or adjustautomobile brake systems.
· Verifiesvehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjustingcontrols and systems.
· Complies withstate vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, andcombustion control standards.
· Maintains vehicle records by recording service andrepairs.
· Keeps shop equipmentoperating by following operating instructions; troubleshootingbreakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventivemaintenance; calling for repairs.
· Contains costs by using warranty; evaluating service and partsoptions.
· Keeps supplies ready byinventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
· Accomplishes maintenance and organizationmission by completing related results as needed.
· Followed relevant health and safetyregulations.
· Maintained paperworkrelated to repairs, orders, and routine services.
