As the Associate Finance Manager you will be responsible for managing the accounting and reporting activities for MEA (including 16 countries) as well as supporting the business within this region.
Your experience gained from a background in auditing will enable you to identify opportunities for improvement, and you will have a natural drive make things happen. Working collaboratively with our finance shared service centre, you will foster strong cohesive relationships to ensure smooth and harmonised processes.
This is a hands on finance role, where you be analysing data, running reports and providing critical information for the business to support future growth, working closely with and reporting into the Senior Manager Finance Manager MEA.

Own the local accounting and finance processes in close collaboration with the finance shared service centre.
Prepare and present the monthly month end financials, coordinate the budget and all projections with business.
Work closely with the centralised Accounts Receivable team. If needed reach out to customers in Arab language to foster collections.
Ensuring full adherence to US GAAP, Stryker Accounting Policies, local GAAP and Sox requirements
Guide on Accounts Payable (AP) process, review and approve local payments in accordance with Vendor and Compliance policies
Prepare local tax reporting, communicate with tax authorities
Responsible for the planning and execution (collection of data, sample, etc.) of annual independent audits – also internal audits
Handle ad hoc requests from business or corporate teams
What you need:
Experience workingwithin one of the big 4 Audit companies
Demonstrated technical finance experience of working in a similar position within a multinational company
Degree or diploma in Finance and Accounting
Experience withHFM and Power BIJD Edwards experience would be very beneficial
Evidence of continuous process improvement
