Job Purpose

To develop and execute DIFC’s Business Marketing in alignment with both the Marketing Strategy and 2030 DIFC Strategy.

Key Activities


Lead the development and implementation of an anuual Business Marketing Strategy, to support the delivery of DIFC Strategic Plan and Objectives.

The Business Marketing Strategy should be always updated to clearly include:

Business Marketing brand, Awareness and lead generation campaigns plan

Local, regional and international business events plan, clearly segregating events that are DIFC owned vs events where DIFC will participate/sponsor (a detailed evaluation and reasoning for each event is required)

Stakeholder Maps with details of key stakeholders

Key messaging for all stakeholders (developed by content team)

Stakeholder engagement plans


Work closely with all other sections of Marketing and Corporate Communications to make sure Business Marketing designs, campaigns, social media and Events are on brand and messaging.

Co-create a global business events database each year, to use as a base for operations strategy.

Support MCC, Strategy, Legal and Business Development on marketing activities in line with the approved annual plan.

Extend support to DIFC Ventures on the likes of DIFC Innovation Hub, Academy, Hawkamah (where relevant available and aligned to prioritization and subject to resource and deliverables for their marketing requirements.


Own and oversee the execution of the Business Marketing strategy – this should be part of the yearly operational plan.

Responsible for all Business campaigns, Events, Activations and Programs for the DIFC in Dubai and internationally

Develop a “Briefing System” and process, to be used by Business Marketing team, MCC Department and the rest of the DIFC departments, for efficiency.

Ensure DIFC has visibility from a branding and content standpoint within the local, regional, and international markets. It is especially important to demonstrate the leadership position of DIFC.

Co-Work with media agency and publishers regionally/ globally to reach right audiences with content / right messages.

Co-Monitor competitor Events and business campaigns within the industry regionally (namely Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Riyadh) and recommend tactics to keep DIFC Brand in the clear lead at all times.

Update tracker providing updates to stakeholders on deliverables agreed.

Oversee Analytics & Reporting

Manage Co working leasing aspects to maximize the department revenues and meet corporate objectives to ensure maximum occupancy level.

Maintain good ongoing relationship with Clients from leasing perspective.

Comply with organization procedures, maintain confidentiality at all times, recommend process improvements to enhance client experience, by simplifying and streamlining where possible operational processes, including formulating all leasing policies, practices and procedures as applicable

Ensure the co working community platform remains optimal and fit for purpose, identifying any improvements to process and increased productivity

Learning & Development

Provide insight/training to the team for better understanding of how it integrates with the rest of the sections within the MCC department.

Develop direct reports within function.

Create a Learning and Development plan for self, to be shared with Line Manager, Department Head and HR.
