Unit Purpose:

Business Banking focuses on the development and management of small to medium size accounts by offering both assets and liabilities solutions. The unit leverages on the skills, knowledge, and expertise of its staff to grow the portfolio and increase its contribution to the overall development and profitability of the bank

Job Purpose :

Support the Unit’s Compliance and Governance Management by keeping current with applicable banking regulations, laws, and best practices. The Officer will also assist with the coordination of compliance reviews; coordination of regulatory projects and update compliance policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Effectively identify and respond to Business Banking client needs.

Ensure completion of client transaction in timely and quality manner.

Support the quality initiative by reducing transaction defeats and cycle time.

Incorporate EIB values into all activities.

Add value to our clients through delivering on our EIB Banking experience.

Provide product and service information, advice and relevant products and services to customers to increase their awareness and promote their usage.

File maintenance.

Preparing basic Memo.

Any other task requested by your line Manager.

Solid Knowledge of products and services.

Address customer problems and complaints to achieve satisfactory resolutions.

Resolve client problems and respond to inquiries quickly and effectively.

Adhere to legal, corporate and regulator procedures.

Apply and comply with relevant processes, procedures and controls to meet the unit’s needs while providing efficient service to customers.

Assists staff on a day to day basis by conducting research, responding to inquiries, and assisting with the development of or revisions to policies and procedures.

Work with Department Head on the oversight of the Bank’s compliance framework within the business unit.

Assists with audit and compliance examinations, including requesting and preparing materials.

Provides on-going support to the front line team on ad-hoc special reviews, risk assessments, compliance reviews, and other tasks.

Assists the front line on monitoring and analysis of customer profiles.

Ensure compliance and completion of regulatory initiatives/remediation projects.

Maintain strict control of confidential documents/secured negotiable items to prevent loss or misuse.

Qualifications

Relevant education with minimum of Bachelor’s Degree

Relevant experience in similar job

UAE experience

Banking products and operations
