Procurement is a strategic function within Business Services responsible for determining procurement strategy and the associated operating models, policies, procedures, systems and governance.
Procurement continuously drives commercial focus, value and efficiency through the procurement lifecycle, leveraging best in class practices, governance and technology
What Will You Do
Lead the development and completion of all assigned Procurement projects and tasks. To actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives while managing assigned enquiries, training, reports, and projects to ensure the provision of timely and efficient services to the organization in line with defined policies and procedures.
Strategic Project Management: To lead and keep track of all assigned projects and initiatives of the function while ensuring proper follow-up, identifying improvement opportunities for their successful execution
Stakeholder Management: manage internal and external stakeholders and represent Mubadala in the market, to service providers, partners, relevant authorities and stakeholders
Sourcing: Support assigned Annual Procurement Plan efforts included in the Procurement objectives, under the guidance of the line manager, ensuring the creation of synergies, efficiencies and value
Procurement Performance & Continuous Improvement: Support efforts to provide regular performance reporting to the management
Policy & Manual: Review the Procurement Policy & Manual in order to continuously improve as per best practices and updated business needs
What Will You Bring
To succeed within this role, you will be bringing a strong mix of practical experience, technical skills and business skills, including the following:
Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, business administration or equivalent.
Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in procurement and supplier relationship management in a recognized large-scale organization in the UAE.
Procurement accreditation (CIPS or equivalent is preferable)
Strong interpersonal skillset and ability to operate with minimum supervision
Ability to shape and lead problem solving, and drive insightful solutions
Previous exposure to projects that required maintaining high levels of productivity and self-direction, setting priorities and scheduling various activities
You will have the following business skills: strategic thinker, analytical thinking, problem solving, resilient, emotional intelligence, cultural awareness, results focused
Experience of managing suppliers within a formal SRM Framework (preferable)
Strong understanding of supplier contracts and performance management (KPIs/SLAs) and ability to identify and execute improvement opportunities
You will be a team player with high standards of business ethics and a drive to deliver, innovate and improve, whilst building strong partnerships within and outside Mubadala
You will be an excellent communicator able to build relationships, communicate and influence at all levels
ERP or P2P System experience (Oracle fusion is preferable)
