The Burj Al Arab is looking forGerman speakersto join our Front office team.

We are recruiting for two positions:

Opportunity 1: Guest Service Executive

About the role

· As a Guest Service Executive, you will be responsible for greeting & guiding all guests or visitors coming to the hotel and provide a personalized welcoming.

The main responsibilities are

· Escort to suites while explaining all hotel facilities

· Do check-in procedures ensuring full registration & full payment

· Do desk in-in charge – cashiering & suite allocation

· Conduct Hotel Show Around

· Assist other rooms division departments when needed

· Ensure that s/he adheres to all hotel and company standards, Business conduct and ethics, policies and procedures including Health, Hygiene & Safety

About you:

· Previous guest relations experience in 5star hospitality industry

· Experience in 5-star hotel front office

· Hotel school graduate or Front Office operations certificate holder is desirable

Opportunity 2: Assistant Guest Relations Manager

About the role

· As the Assistant Guest Relations Manager, you will be responsible for greeting & guiding all guests or visitors coming to the hotel. Give personalized show arounds for any pre-arranged Jumeirah corporate & Burj Al Arab Management. Ensure show around standards are followed and adhering to rules & regulations for show around approval at all times.

The main responsibilities are

· Conducting Top VIP show arounds

· Managing guest relations correspondence (Emails, calendars etc)

· Maintaining & analyzing show around statistics

· Meeting & greeting guest coming to restaurants & banquet functions

· Supervising Royal Arrival Procedure for arriving guests

· Supporting (being present) lobby operation in the absence of show around

· Socializing with resident and non-resident guests to facilitate feedback and obtain guest preferences

· Replacing Guest Services Manager when needed

· Assisting other Rooms Division departments when ever needed as requested by management

· Ensuring that he / she adheres to all hotel and company standards, Business conduct and ethics, policies and procedures including Health, Hygiene & Safety

· Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management.

About you:

· Previous guest relations experience in 5star hospitality industry

· Experience in 5 star hotel front office

Hotel school graduate or Front Office operations certificate holder is desirable
