Title: Assessor – Accreditation

To perform assessments within the accredited schemes and as per the approved scope in the authorization list. Represent the organization as Assessor to acquire ISO 17024 accreditation from EIAC and other relevant authorities when required.
Key Accountabilities:
Fulfill the duties of an Assessor by administering theoretical, oral and practical examination for each scope required for certification in an impartial manner.
Represent the organization as Assessor to acquire ISO 17024 accreditation from EIAC and other relevant authorities when required.
Work closely with Accreditation officer to develop Quality manual, procedures and schemes.
Prepare, review and sign Quality Manual and Procedures, schemes and other relevant document whenever required as per EIAC Requirements in getting Persons Certification Accreditation
Prepare & develop question bank for each scope as per local and international standards
Prepares examination forms and other relevant documents
Implement procedures as per DDWD Quality manual and procedures and in accordance with ISO 17024:2012.
Maintains records of examination results and other relevant documents.
Provide technical training for future Assessors regarding the certification schemes.
Assures consistency, impartiality, independence and confidentiality for quality and security of examination delivery.
Participate and contribute to the document review audits.
Involve in routine tasks related to maintaining the accreditations.
Technical Competencies required:
Sound knowledge of EIAC requirements, ISO 17024, ISO 17020, ISO 9001, International Standards and Dubai Municipality local guidelines.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably mechanical, electrical, industrial, electronics, mechatronics) with minimum 3 years of experience or diploma in the above fields of engineering with minimum 6 years of experience,
Working experience shall be in relevant field, such as lifting equipment operation, inspection, operators’ examinations etc.
Familiar with the relevant certification scheme,
Thorough knowledge of the relevant examination methods and examination documents,
Have attended training courses/sessions on how to conduct an examination for the scheme,
Has appropriate competence in the field to be examined,
Experience and Qualifications:
Education
University degree in any engineering discipline preferably mechanical, electrical, or as per EIAC requirements.
Training
Any training relative to lifting equipment operation, inspection and/or training course/session on how to conduct an examination for the scheme.
Experience
6 years of experience in lifting equipment operation, inspection, operators, examinations etc.
Extensive specialized trainings directly related to the lifting equipment operation, inspection, operators’ examinations and several years (more than ten years) of working experience in same field.
Worked as an Assessor in an EIAC Approved third party company providing Lifting Equipment Persons Certification.
