An opportunity exists for an Accounting Manager in our office in Dubai. You will be responsible for the end-to-end entity management of Coty Distribution Emirates LLC, with full ownership and responsibility for Month-end close, Cash Flow Management, Accounting, Reporting, and Audit.
Responsibilities include:
Month End Closing & Reporting
Prepare a month-end close checklist for self, team, and SSC ensuring all month-end close tasks are completed on time, accruals reviewed, approved, and booked.
Ensure data submission to HFM, is reviewed by Co-pilots and CFOs before final submission
Prepare periodic reports for the business and/or senior management
Analysing and presenting KPI reports for the entity to senior management on a periodic basis
Coordinating with SSC to ensure compliance and review of all reports prepared by SSC
Fixed Assets & Fixed Costs
Ensure a proper review of the Fixed Assets is done annually, with periodic review of the AUC, and take full ownership of all fixed costs of the entity
Accounts Receivable & Trade Investment
Regular review of all Accounts Receivable & Trade Investment accruals and pending concerns with Senior Accountant, Business, and Senior Management
Monitoring all the financial aspects of Coty-owned Gucci Boutique Store.
Inter-Company
Ensure all Intercompany charges are prepared and shared timely while ensuring the cross charges received are reviewed and booked timely
Master Data
Be attuned to the changes and the process involved for all master data for the entity, including Customer Master, Vendor Master, Pricing, Inventory, GL, Cost Centre & Profit centre
VAT
Taking ownership of the monthly VAT filing by the Senior Accountant, while also being the backup for the same
Auditing and control
Ensure all SOX processes are complied with
Ensure all external audit requirements are met
What will you bring?
Min 2 years of experience in the related field.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, capacity to read and interpret data
Proficient in SAP
Proficient in building dashboards using BI tools such as Power BI, and/or Tableau or any other software.
Must understand how to acquire, store, organize, and manage data to integrate multiple platforms so that data is accessible to everyone in the organization
Ability to think strategically, deal with complexity, and work together within a team.
Fluency in English is a must and Arabic is a plus.
